Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food.  It was an immediate hit.  When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something and Fooda was born. 

Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices.  Position Overview:
As an Operations Account Executive you will play a crucial role in helping manage daily operations for the Seattle market. Your “North Star” is ensuring that we provide a consistently first-rate lunch experience for our clients and their employees. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to on-board and train new restaurants, handle inbound requests from clients, and provide on-site support.  This role requires ~40% local travel within the Seattle area. 

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Assist in managing daily operations of the Seattle market.
  • Train, launch, and conduct performance follow-ups with restaurants for our Delivery and Popup platforms, cultivating an exceptional local restaurant network.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and restaurants, including day-of communication, recurring meetings, and general support.
  • Support client launches by coordinating on-site logistics and ensuring all operational aspects run smoothly.
  • Conduct on-site audits to ensure restaurant compliance and assess customer experience.  
  • Accurately input and validate data to maintain accuracy across Fooda systems.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Operations team to achieve an excellent service experience for our clients, day in and day out.
 Who You Are:
  • You have at least four years’ experience in a professional work setting
  • You love process, work fast, and care about the details
  • You are very organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
  • You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced startup
  • You are optimistic in the face of problems and know that you’re capable of finding solutions
  • You have a natural hospitality mindset - warm, responsive, and focused on creating positive experiences for clients, customers, and restaurant partners.
  • You have strong communication skills and are comfortable giving direction.
  • You can lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and stand for up to two hours

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$75,000. The salary is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to: work experience, training, location and skills.
