Market Sales Manager

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an ambitious sales leader to be our first hire for the upcoming San Antonio market. The role is primarily focused on sales, working with San Antonio's leading companies and buildings to utilize Fooda. It will also entail operations and business management, as you will be overseeing relationships with San Antonio's top lunch destinations, recruiting and managing people, and overseeing an ever-growing P&L.

Who You Are:

  • You have 5+ years experience in a Sales and Operations leadership position
  • You are experienced with project management and have a proven track record of successfully completing initiatives from start to finish 
  • You are organized and detail orientated and are able to prioritize and multitask
  • You are comfortable working in a remote setting and have a willingness to speak up, have your own voice, and voice questions/concerns you have specific to your market
  • You have a cheery disposition and positive attitude – startups are a rollercoaster and a positive outlook is critical

What You Will Be Doing:

  • This is a hunter role, you will be responsible for closing business to open and grow your market through outbound calls and in-person meetings.
  • Pre-sell ten new clients into your assigned Market
  • Work in collaboration with Fooda’s Restaurant Sales team to sell and onboard 20 restaurants to support your Markets launch
  • Recruit and manage an internal operations team to support the ongoing growth of your market
  • Conduct outbound calls to build relationships and set meetings with corporate customers
  • Show resourcefulness to reach new customers by showing persistence in following up on your leads
  • Collaborate with Fooda’s existing leadership and marketing team to leverage pre-existing relationships and adapt marketing campaigns specific to the market
