Business Development Manager

Every day, each Fooda location is served by different restaurants that come onsite and serve fresh lunch from their chef’s unique menus. Fooda operates in seventeen major US cities and plans for continued expansion.

Position Overview

With our expanding growth, Fooda is looking to add an additional Business Development Manager to our Nashville Team. This is a true "hunter" role in which you will be targeting potential customers throughout the Nashville Area. 

Who You Are:

  • You have 4+ years of business development experience preferably in a closing capacity
  • You love chatting up people you don’t know - getting to know them, telling your story and being comfortable driving the conversation
  • You are competitive and persistent – you chase your goals and do what it takes to win. and believe results matter most, period. 
  • You are strategically-minded with excellent problem-solving skills
  • You are a team-player, but you also thrive working autonomously.
  • You have been successful cold-calling

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to build relationships and set meetings with potential Fooda customers
  • Identify opportunities and offering solutions that meet customer needs while maximizing dollars and efficiency
  • Present, negotiate and close deals with senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium sized companies in your assigned market
  • Learn and understand the Fooda training program including: Best Practices within the sales process and managing your CRM
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in reaching new customers and show diligence with following up
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to execute client launches and maintain positive, productive relationships
