About the Team:
Our Data Science & Analytics team is changing the way Fooda uses data. The company has placed a strategic focus on building out our data science and analytics capabilities and you will be core to this growth. The team is responsible for all reporting & analytics for the company, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive innovative analytic solutions.

POSITION OPPORTUNITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Data Analyst for the Enterprise team, you will work on the Data Science and Analytics team to drive and evolve the analytics solutions and reporting for our Enterprise clients at Fooda. You will partner closely with Enterprise leadership to enable data-driven decision making, client reporting, and perform analysis to evolve the Enterprise client experience with Fooda.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Partner closely with internal stakeholders on the Enterprise team to facilitate data-driven conversations and decisions across the organization. This includes:
  1. Improving client experience and satisfaction through insights-oriented analysis and reporting.
  1. Improving Fooda team efficiency through data-driven process improvements, proactive data monitoring and alerting, and defining and measuring key metrics of success.

- Leverage SQL and data visualization tools to analyze data to drive key business decisions, build client facing reporting, and perform data analysis for the Enterprise business unit.

- Govern, analyze, and own data that drives stakeholders’ perception of the organization, which involves diving in, addressing questions, and perform root cause analysis of issues that arise within the data

- Assist in requirements gathering, design, and development of complex data systems that collect, analyze, and measure data for the Enterprise business unit.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience working in analytics, business intelligence, or data science.


- Experience using SQL to extract data to perform complex data analysis

- Extensive knowledge and experience working with large scale data warehouse and database platforms using SQL and a Business Intelligence tool (Tableau, Power BI, Domo, QlikView, etc.)

- Attention to detail and the ability to think critically and solve problems using analytical and quantitative methodologies


- Strong oral/written communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate and translate difficult analytical problems to stakeholders with minimal analytics background

- Ability to work effectively and multi-task in a high paced environment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects: work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and hitting deadlines

- Experience diving into data quality and data profiling analysis to ensure data consistency and accuracy across enterprise reporting

- Experience analyzing and integrating data from external systems into an analytic environment
