Growth Manager

Chicago, IL
Full Time
Client Success
Experienced
Foodsby is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fooda and operates like a seed-stage startup within the broader organization as we refine its product-market fit.
We are looking for a resourceful problem solver who is comfortable working through ambiguity, testing new approaches, and improving systems and processes as the business evolves.

As a Growth Manager for Foodsby, you will own the reactivation and growth of a small number of Foodsby’s large account base. Your North Star is experimenting with every growth lever to increase account value and discover an effective activation process with Foodsby’s EIR (Entrepreneur in Residence).

You will serve as the primary point of contact for these select clients and the owner of these accounts, build strategy to grow account value, execute, monitor and iterate to find a scalable and repeatable playbook for growth at Foodsby.

This role requires weekly in-office attendance at Fooda’s headquarters in Chicago.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own the reactivation and growth of a focused portfolio of high-potential Foodsby accounts.
  • Develop account-level growth strategies to increase employee awareness, activation, order frequency, retention, and overall account value within 5-week timeframe.
  • Design and execute growth experiments across client communications, promotions, on-site activations, restaurant offerings, and other potential growth levers.
  • Partner closely with Foodsby’s Entrepreneur in Residence to define hypotheses, prioritize tests, evaluate results, and determine what should be scaled, refined, or discontinued.
  • Analyze account performance and user behavior to identify the highest-impact growth opportunities and establish clear targets for each account.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from clients and end users to identify barriers to adoption, unmet needs, and opportunities to improve the Foodsby experience.
  • Contribute to the development of Foodsby’s growth processes, tools, and operating standards as the business continues to refine its product-market fit.

Who You Are

  • You have 3–5+ years of experience in growth, account management, business operations, consulting, or another results-oriented role. Startup or early-stage business experience is a plus.
  • You are a proactive, resourceful problem solver who identifies opportunities, develops a point of view, and moves quickly from insight to action.
  • You are energized by diagnosing growth challenges, testing new approaches, and determining what actually drives measurable results.
  • You can independently assess an account, identify the highest-impact opportunities, combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and are comfortable personally driving the work needed to create momentum.
  • You are highly experimental and comfortable forming hypotheses, running tests, learning from unsuccessful approaches, and iterating quickly.
  • You are commercially minded and naturally look for ways to increase activation, engagement, order frequency, retention, and account value.
  • You are comfortable creating structure in ambiguous environments without waiting for established processes, detailed instructions, or perfect information.
  • You communicate clearly and can align cross-functional partners around priorities, responsibilities, timelines, and desired outcomes.
  • You take ownership of results, maintain urgency, and persist in finding new paths when the first approach does not work.

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No phone calls or recruiters please.

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000. The salary is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to: work experience, training, location and skills.
