Position Overview

In the Popup Trainer role for Fooda you will report to the Director of Popup Account Management and work with our Market Popup Teams to provide a comprehensive training program for the Popup teams.  You will be responsible for training all new hires to the operations team.  You will also provide continued training and development on systems and standards to the team throughout the year.  You will be responsible for the creating and upkeep of content for Fooda’s learning management platform in regard to all things Popup.  

The ideal candidate is results oriented, performance driven individual that has the ability to set and manage expectations internally and externally.  This position requires an individual who is not only able to educate, motivate, and convey expectations of the roles to new employees, but also detailed-oriented and able to be manage multiple training programs at the same time.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leading Onboarding Training for new Fooda Popup Account Managers, Account Executives & Operations Coordinators including traveling to different markets as well as remote training to ensure their success in their roles
  • Build dynamic training curricula to onboard and train all new Popup Operations team members, using multiple adult-learning techniques and various tools and resources
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials and job aids
  • Ongoing Training to Popup teams on new systems, processes, and developing best-practices
  • Organize and lead monthly calls with Popup teams to encourage open discussion of experiences to help them grow in their role
  • Assign and track trainings and curricula using the LMS (Litmus), including assigning required trainings, tracking attendance, monitoring progress, and gathering feedback.
  • Track, record and analyze training surveys for all training conducted
  • This role would require approximately 30 - 50% of your time on travel for new hire training, 20-25% focused on ongoing Popup team training, and 20-25% on the learning management tool

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of successful training experience.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills with the ability to manage long-distance training programs when necessary
  • Possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to communicate with people on a variety of levels
  • You are an effective communicator and expert training facilitator, and can foster internal adoption to changes in our products and services.
  • Strong desire for continued education of Fooda employees
