Vice President of Sales

We believe a workplace food program is something employees should love and look forward to every day. Powered by technology and a network of over 1,000 restaurants, Fooda feeds hungry people at work through our ongoing food programs located within companies and office buildings. Every day, each Fooda location is served by different restaurants that come onsite and serve fresh lunch from their chef’s unique menus. Fooda operates in nine major US cities and plans to continue its expansion across the United States and internationally.

Position Overview:

We are expanding rapidly and now operate in nine US markets including Chicago, New York, Boston, LA, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas & San Jose.  We are looking to add a member to our senior leadership team to lead our growing in market sales and operations teams.

While this role has both operations and sales components it is at its core a sales role that is focused leveraging our existing resources and developing new relationships that will allow Fooda to expand quicker and with greater success in each of our new markets. 

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years experience in a Sales and Operations leadership. 
  • Experience with project management and ability to successfully complete initiatives from start to finish 
  • Very organized and detail orientated; ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Willingness to speak up, have your own voice, and challenge the status quo
  • Cheery disposition and positive attitude – startups are a rollercoaster and a great outlook is paramount

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Work with the senior leadership team to implement Fooda’s messaging and sales processes in your markets / cities.  You will start with 4 existing Fooda Markets and will be expected to take over management of 4 newly launched markets by Q1 of 2018
  • Develop best practices and lead Fooda’s efforts to create a learning and development platform for new and current employees
  • Collaborate with CSO to recruit and train all appropriate positions in Fooda’s Markets
  • Be accountable for growing top line sales while maintaining/gaining the appropriate operating leverage throughout the growth cycle of Fooda Market
  • Take ownership of large sales opportunities from initial meeting to closing, including the ability to present and negotiate contracts
  • Work closely with the VP of Market Expansion to promote a comprehensive strategy for our market expansion efforts with the executive team
  • Facilitate a culture of entrepreneurialism and growth in each market
