Fooda partners with trendy local restaurants to provide awesome food at reasonable prices to employees while at work. We’ve built a technology platform for employees to easily buy tasty lunch every day, and for restaurants to get access to new, loyal customers. Fooda is a proven, venture-backed, growing startup with an experienced team.
We are expanding rapidly and now operate in nine US markets including: Chicago, New York, Boston, LA, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, and San Jose. We are looking to add a sales specialist to our launch team to accelerate our growth into future markets by selling to new customers in markets where we are not yet launched.
While this role has both operations and sales components, it is at its core a sales role that is focused on leveraging our existing resources and developing new relationships that will allow Fooda to expand quicker and with greater success in each of our new markets.
Who You Are:
3+ years experience in a Sales and/or Business Development roles.
You’re competitive – you chase your goals and do what it takes to win
You believe results matter most, period. Effort is the most important ingredient.
You can follow a process when you know it works
Successful cold calling experience a must
Outside sales experience preferred
Cheery disposition and positive attitude – startups are a rollercoaster and a great outlook is paramount
What You’d be responsible for
This is a hunter role, close business and open new markets
Outbound calls to build relationships and set meetings with corporate customers
Comfortable closing new accounts through in-person meetings with potential customers
Learn and understand the Fooda sales training program, including our best practices within the sales process and managing your CRM
Generate customer leads based on our target profile
Be resourceful in reaching new customers and diligent with following up on your leads
Demonstrate high energy, bring a positive attitude and enjoy making a lot of phone calls
Collaborate with existing markets leadership and Marketing department to leverage pre-existing relationships and adapt marketing campaigns.
